ScriptVessel question

I have a question regarding SV, how does it detect mobs on the screen/items on the screen + their co-ords.

is it done via hooking?

i've never done this technique before and am finding it quite tricky, i currently have a pixel based bot created in java which is working rather well but i would like to improve it further with the help of hooking.

can anyone show me some examples of how to hook into conquer and get mobs/items + any other info would be much appreciated. :)

I know that java does not support hooking itself but i am using JNA which very much does. Ty for any info provided

edit: i also notice it is able to detect dura of items and is able to work in the background? how does that work does it send virtual mouse clicks to the application rather than actually controlling the mouse?

I remember it being memory based so yes done via hooks.

If you want to get into the field of hook based bots, there's hawtness' awesome hook framework for .net. I like C# personally but if you're more comfortable with VB it works just fine with that too. All you'd need to do really is update the send/receive addresses as patches change and it bypasses any need for encryption knowledge.

Bah... I need to stop thinking of random dumb projects I could do... One day off and I'm already bored lol.
