Planetside Expansion

Hey there people, I have a question and I hope people are willing to help me out. :)

I played Planetside aprox 2 years ago, back then the game was populated and we had great wars to fight, I just recently came back to the game and noticed the website doesn't seem to work for me it only shows up in black and I have no idea what the reason is as I do have all the latest direct and java updates...

Anyway thats not my main question, it seems I have the client running and yes I can login and play again, but the Caverns are not acces-able for me which makes it seem I need the expansion...?

Do I still have to purchase the expansion or is there a other way around?

You have to make sure that the caverns are open, and you need to go to the correct cavern warpgate, you cannot H.A.R.T., if you were trying to.

Well I was trying to Drop pot there out of the Sanctuary that not possible either?

Nevermind, found how to get to the caverns! thanks for your help.
