I have a little problem, I tried to run a virtual system on your laptop. I focused on two programs: VMware Workstation, and VirtualBox. As an operating system I've used windows 7 ultimate for both programs. In addition, yesterday I installed VMware Workstation on Windows XP Professional + Service Pack 3 After placing both systems crafty updates without any problems. Overall, downloading files from the network and update the system did not cause any difficulties. That would be so short introduction, which was based on. Now I'll try to explain what exactly I wanted to do. I wanted to run Archlord Client

The application was running about 30 minutes and no update has started in all cases is the same situation.

question:

Why after installing the correct OS and applications, client can not connect to the server provider?

Please help me.

Can you tell me why you use a VM for this ? Did you host the server on a hoster ? Just use your logic, you're trying to run updates from a client which is isolate from the rest of the world on a VM which in the first place, doesn't have internet access.

Edit : If you're using a VM as a gate between the server and your client. I don't know if that could work, cause you are using the same default gateway. You should try port forward your router. Again it sounds silly to try this on the same computer. The only way I know this could work is if you use a VPN which opens the ports for you. Otherwise you'll get a loop effect and no connections will show up.
