Maps colours

I dont suppose anyone can tell me how to change the colours on a map. As an example, make them a lot darker. Change the colours.

Am i guessing right that i would need to edit them using something like photoshop on them?
Either way, I think a guide would be a good idea lol.

i think and it must be there it's located in gamemap.ini which every map got this colours
Alpha=255
Red=255
Green=255
Blue=255

just make backup for that file and edit something like cronus ID 1000 and try......

I found the file you are referring to. Any chance you could explain in a little more detail what things mean. Like, and most importantly, the numbers = what colours.

alpha color is if you want to make blur
red = red color
green = green color
blue = blue color

you can edit number below 255 so you can make it like that
Alpha=100 bluring Alpha=50 more bluring
Red=255
Green=150 >>> So Those three colors will make your map more red
Blue=150


edit the colors as you like..

Thats not what i was after, though it is very useful to know. My bad, I should have worded my post differently.

What i want is to make a map darker. Less light. An almost completely black environment, but with the name tags still visible. I hope that makes more sense now?
