Quick pserver

Hey there! This may seem like a stupid question for the most of you, but here I go.
I don't have any pserver development experiance, though I'm here to learn. What's the quickest and easiest pserver to work with? (I'll use it for myself even a hamachi based server would do, learning stuff like modding, programming, and just development in general, so I'll be the only user.) Any tips for a starter? What do I need?
This isn't a one post question, It would be great if we could have a discussion.

If u Need To try PSRO server
Well what u need to know at first the Machine u will host Ur files on it
I will talk about the minimum
processor dual/core 2 due 2.3GHz or 3.07GHz will be more better
Also Ram 4GB .. HD/Vga doesn't take effect with ur PC when u open ur server files ,
Also we will try out the internet speed if u need to start like on hamachi so if ur upload 100KBs and download 500KBs (i don't mean ur internet speed so if 500KBs download so ur internet speed should be 4MB) could handel via hamachi 100Players and max 200 and if upload 500KB too ur server could handel to 400 Online Players
