I'd like to know if there's a way to remove the patcher from the original application

i have to ask you, why you would like to remove the patcher!
do u want to change the exe? on many servers there is an different exe in your ro folder! whith this exe you can start the server without the patcher! if there is no other exe you have to dif on on your own!
go to eathena.ws and look for a guide! there are many easy guides for that!

however I gotta remove the patcher to run xkore

that you cant use xkore is not a problem from the patcher! its a problem with eathena! with the newest eathena software you cant use xkore anymore!

diff your own exe!

i've only found 2007-02-20a_Sakexe_v11.diff in the eathena forum but it doesn't have the patcher removing option ;-;

if you have a new exe the patcher wont start because in this new one is no order to start the patcher like in the original exe!

With a diffed exe u start the game directly,
If u want delet the patcher, delet it and everything is fine o.O
But ull get no updates anymore.
Or you just start the exe that the patcher starts after a click at start or something =o

I'm still trying to find out the way to do it

If you really just want to start directly the game, then start the exe in your RO folder which is running when the game is running.
That would directly start the game, and that without the patcher.

If you dont know which files belong to the patcher, you cant delet it.
In majority of cases the folder that affiliate to the patcher is called : neoncube, patcher, or something like this.

BUT if you run the game then though the patcher exe, you WILL get an error, cuz the patcher does not find his files.
As I said the easiest way is to start the real game exe.
