Is MNG 4.0 dead?

Don't use these forums hardly at all, so i'm lacking a bit of knowledge here.

MNG 4.0, is it dead? I know someone who says he's got it working (off-line atm) and he gave me a link to it with some other stuff which i'm not interested in. MNG, i messed with THREAD_DELAY from 0 and 1, up to unreasonably high numbers (hope they're unreasonable anyway) Always get the MEMORY MOD detection though. I also have it set to Load="HackSlash.dll"

That didn't work either. Just wanted to know if it's dead and my acquaintance is wrong, or if i'm simply doing it wrong.

The thread delay is in milliseconds, not seconds.

0 and 1 are EPICALLY LOW.
Mines set at 14000. :P

Yeah, i figured it was lower than seconds, but the guide lines on the thread delay state that if the error is claimed as memory detection, to lower the thread delay value. So i went through doing that for more reasonable values then to as low as i could, to see if the error would change at all. When it didn't, i put things like 99999 to see if i could at least get a different error, which i didn't.

Well that's weird. Because I'm using the same set up I've been using for awhile.

HackSlash + MNG + Old Hackshield Folder + Client.exe HS Skip edit thing that marck made and totally has more effect on the community than it should have!!

Well, i did just get the link to mess with MNG today, and i've not used marck's hackshield updater skipper. I'm not very knowledgeable hackshield's mechanics, due to lack of interest in all these "fun" mods/hacks people tend to develop around here.

How old is your HS folder?

If by age, you mean how long have i been running mabi for, 73_full.pack. Been updating since then, without anything to stop hshield updates.
