I need help make creating a GM account

i need help!!! Ive been trying for days to make myself a gm on my private server.. Ive read that i have to do something to my cq_user but i cant get to it because my Winmysqladmin ver 1.4 wont let me make any changes to my server for some reason so if someone knows what to do and would like to help pls do.... thanks in advance...

If you are using Navicat, open cq_user and add [GM] in your characters name. It can go in, before or after the name. Thats about all i can help you with on this.

no im using Winmysqladmin ver 1.4 and it doesn't let me edit nothing :/

ok well i did what u told me and it worked but i cant use commands to get items what do i do now..

To use commands you need to be careful, some are only for PM. Do the process again, but change from GM to PM. That will make all commands available.
But what ever you do, dont do /superman more than twice, and dont use /kickout all. Both can cause adverse effects. Not saying they will, just use caution with those two.

winmysqladmin is your mysql install navicat is a program you use to connect to your mysql install you can use heidi sql or even the mysql workbench or several other programs to connect to it .. otherwise you are looking at a long hard road of text editing and such..

to use the awarditem command make yourself a pm gms can only use certain comands , but gms can trade with anyone while the PM cannot keep this in mind... a lot of people use [PM]name[GM] for their owner accounts

Once you have set up your mysql and have a green light, you should have changed your configs to suit your servers needs, there are guides on this using search, make your account and character that you want to use as your GM/PM, go into navicat and find cq_user, find your character name and just add [PM] behind the name, or [GM] behind the name, or [PM] in front of the name and [GM] behind the name example, Madness[PM] or Madness[GM] or [PM]Madness[GM], be-careful that your character name isnt to long, you can only add so many letters in the name, there are GM/PM codes posted everywhere here just use the search button to find them, hope this [Only registered and activated users can see links. you are wrong about that , these commands wont do any harm to the server , like /superman i did it over 100 times on my char and never had any side effect . about the /kickout all itis a MUST to do a maint , when you do a maint u must log in your PM/GM char and do this /kickout all then logout and close the acc , msg , npc server thats the best way to make a maint it will never harm your datebase or anything , and if you don`t kickout all your datebase will get damaged , and chars online won`t save their items or pets legions everything , so when you put the server up again you might find item loss and server might not start because there is very high chance that many tables will get damaged .

ya man, i always do a /kickout all before a maint and never had any problems, and the only issue i had with /superman is once i done it quite a few times, it reset, all my stats (attk,def,dodge,etc.) so i had to do it more to get it back up lol, but other than that i havent had any issues with either

Thanks guys i figured it all out.. Now i understand it... Now how do i change my eudemon stars ive been using eudemon star changer but not really understanding it i know i have to put chksum after ive changed eudemon stats and then save but it doesn't really make my eudemons stars go up by much is their something else i have to do

For some reason, idk why this /superman command never work when I hosted server before . Sad

Superman does work, it adds stats to your char, works on every server files :P
