[question]upgrading source

how should i upgrade my source, i got this conquerSx source (5165) and was wondering what i should do to get the other source, is it just copy past & overwrite (and ofcourse for a working game change a few things as IP) or should i delete the whole Sx and take a other -better- source?

any suggestions?

Pick any source at random and it willbe better than conquersx. It's a horrible source. Look at fang's blog for a list of public sources and their patch/stability

If you wanna take a source then upgrade it, pick Impulse's 5165.

Up to you but I don't see that much reason to use his source (sorry to provide conflicting advice). If you want to start with a complete base source why not use hybrid's 5017? I've heard a bunch of people who had issues when trying to use the BASE 5165 impulse released just because they started piling things onto the base without going back and cleaning up/upgrading the existing framework... It's a perfectly reasonable base, just that it's left a bad taste in my mouth I suppose.

Not 100% sure on this, but isn't it outdated as hell?
