SEC. 33. Penalties. – The following Acts shall be penalized by fine and/or imprisonment, as follows:

1. Hacking or cracking which refers to unauthorized access into or interference in a computer system/server or information and communication system; or any access in order to corrupt, alter, steal, or destroy using a computer or other similar information and communication devices, without the knowledge and consent of the owner of the computer or information and communications system, including the introduction of computer viruses and the like, resulting in the corruption, destruction, alteration, theft or loss of electronic data messages or electronic documents shall be punished by a minimum fine of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00) and a maximum commensurate to the damage incurred and a mandatory imprisonment of six (6) months to three (3) years;

now guys. you interpret the law.

CE falls under the access in order to alter without the knowledge and consent of the owner of the information.

Dont Abuse the cheats!..

what can you do about it? nothing you got assholes out there its gonna happen they will read this and just put it off like its nothing

just a comment on that rule..

that is existing since 2000 but was never been interpreted or executed as a whole. simple as 1,2,3.. the legislative made a law and they don't educated the law inforcement on how to identify such issues. in fact, the commitee to check/invetigate such offences is still in limbo..

you get penalized if you invented CE and distribute it with a profit.

if you don't fall into this category, you can bail out with a little amount and even get a sentence of 1 week imprisonment.. ^_^

the law's original purpose is to combat piracy not cyber crime which hacking belongs..

there are still none goodprogramer or network programmer in our country to trace any hakcers and if theres one that exist they can't trace those hackers who used internet cafe as their means of doing such things..

our government sucks!!! but maybe somehow not all of them... :d

i've talked to one of bellato altrax known player (RFph) he's a lawyer. he said RP's law is not yet that "fortified" for you to go to jail. xD

PS: a friend of mine was caught by LUG 7 years ago for SQL injecting... they told us that he was imprisoned but we were surprised when he told us he was now working in LUG... LMAO

I think LUG recruit your friend becoz he/she is a good programmer...

And sa mga nag papaka pro d2. kilala naman talga d2 ung mga pro wag naman kaung mag magaling halos pare pareho lng tayo d2.. nag post lng ako d2 para malaman nyo ung Case,, ang iba kasi dyan nalaman lng +4ore mining etc, feeling nila pro na sila...
