EvaTools

Here is the totally new, rebuilt version of evatools. Old one [1.0.3dev<] wont be updated anymore.
Some people asked me to release it "as it is faster", so, it comes without SMC features for now.

It has:
- Edit account data
- Ban account
- Remove account punishment
- Edit/add silk to account
- Edit char data
- Edit academy honor points for char
- Rename character
- Delete character
- Find username by charname
- Find guild info [members list etc]
- Find chars on account
- List char items & delete some if needed (will be updated with feature to edit items)
- Edit guild

Also, i'm going to add specific SMC features (like service startup, sending notice ingame etc in futher versions).

I like the way SMC is. Your program can only do queries, but it can't interact with the MachineManager so you can't have a real control over the server. A PHP script can't either do it.

It's possible. Since SMC intercommunicates with server modules, we can do the same :).

since smc can be a problem to some servers, it could really help to have an alternative

Yeah but it really doesn't worth it. If what you want is do something like the current version of your tool you should have done a php version, which more people can use and even have logs of everyone that uses the tool, that could be useful. The SMC is fine the way it is, if you don't like something there you can just change it with ResHacker (talking about the interface).

I mean, I still don't get the point of making a tool that do less things that something professionally coded that already exists and is designed specifically for the server. You can do it for learn new stuff, but you presented it as an alternative to the SMC, while it doesn't have the 10% of the SMC features.

Don't get me wrong, I like your work, but I just don't see the point of doing it, there are thousands of ways to play with the files than do a program that do queries to the DB =/

Agreed, either way if you can't get the smc running properly, or if you have no idea how to use it you just shouldn't be running a private server...
