Could I suggest you and others stop editing your post to just say "Solved" once your problem is solved.
The search function becomes useless if you do this.
Not only will someone who uses search will have to assume your problem was exact to their's but they will have to guess as to what post in your thread helped you.
I'd say the best way is
Person In Need of Help Says:
"Hi my question is blah blah blah..."
Once solved they can edit it to look like so
Person In Need of Help Says:
"Hi my question is blah blah blah..."
Solved - Answer:
