Edit Npc?

alright so ive been searchin trough the forms n found little about the npc spawning.

i know how to spawn an npc somewhere i like and ive been working on training ground for the 130 stakes, but the only thing is, i tried serval things to change the stakes name but failed every time.

does anyone know where i should look to edit sertain files to get my results?

yeah i tried that.. but i have to create a new npctype?

Well, depending on the source. The source may just let the client's be handling the names, which would require a new npc, or the source may be adding the npc name into the string packet, which wouldnt require a new npc, just a change of the name in the source.

yeah ive figured that the last part is for me. i have the conquersx source and have to change the name of the source.

altho when i edit something in the NPCDialog (source-packhandeling -npcdialog) it wont respond in the game. like edit the tekst an npc should say.
