Age:
in my 20's

What is the reason you decided to apply?
I have decided to apply because I see that the SRO is in need of a new mod, a lot of topics are not in the correct place, there is also still a lot of hate going around. I have been in many situations like this and I know how to handle these types of events, you just have to remain calm.

I also want to give back to the owners of this forum for providing us with such a great website!
Experience with the subject:
I have been a forums moderator, a GM, a head developer, a lead admin, and a owner across many different websites/games/projects/forums/ETC I am also a teacher, so that helps quite a bit.

I have played a few SRO servers and also the offical version, I also have been working on a SRO P-Server, (not for public release), and I understand MSSQL and PhP to a very high level.

Are you mentally prepared and fitting for such a position? (How do you appraise yourself? Can you handle questions which seem to be stupid? How about your knowledge of human nature?)
I don't belive in stupid questions, all questions deserve a equal answer, (fair is fair is fair in my world), I can also take all the extras, (hate mail and so on), with no probleme, the key is to simply remain calm in every situation!

Experience as a moderator (If at hand: How long have you been moderator and what was the subject?):
Across and all, 10 years, I worked on quite a few private servers, and there forums, where I always maintained a high title, (head developer or admin), I also was a lead member in a few internet groups...

I was a mod on E*pvpers for 3-5 months, and it was for two sections, (SRO being one of them), that were quite messy when I arrived, and I cleaned them up to the best of my ability, (and I got very many wall post and PM's telling me I did a excellent job).
How do you act toward other Elitepvpers users, Moderators, Guards...etc?
I always remain respectful to the entire E*pvpers user base, sure there are some members I do not like, (and there are some members who do not like me),but just because I don't like them doesn't give me a reason to not be respectful to them.

Additional:
I would like to just let my community tell you guys about that also, this forum is like litterly apart of my life, the first thing I do when I get on the internet is check on my E*pvpers profile (E*pvpers is MY facebook!) I just want to give back to the community!

Fun fact about me
My real name is Chirs, I am in my 20's and I know Java, PhP, MSSQL and MySQL, Pyton, and C based languages, (VB aswell), I work as a teacher teaching Java and I live in a smallish town in Texas. I have lived in Texas all my life and have only ever lived in two towns, although I am looking into moveing to Oklahoma.

Are you kidding us with this smileys?
Its not necessary to write this senseless sentences.

This application is embarassing.

Maybe you've been a mod here. Nonetheless this isn't a reason to take you back.

You really should work on your application - otherwise your chances to get picked are quite bad.

I don't understand this, I have never been the one to write out long 5 page apps for well...anything, I just answer the question honestly and go on with it..

Please explain :P

I think that what Xeemy is saying is that you need to make your application look more professional and serious; work a little bit more on details and make it be worth the position.

You old application was really creative, and I think you need to be creative, but professional at the same time, take your time to make your application and improve it, to make people believe what I already know about your job (which I must say you are totally capable of doing) just by reading your application.

Good Luck and Welcome back

amount : 2 images, but these combined may not be bigger than 300x200 (e.g. 2 banners with the size of 150x100)
Big NO.

A signature size isn't a big deal about this, I mean, even you and I are not totally 100% following this, because your signature (Corex) contains 3 images and a lot of text, mine has two images which combined are using 650px x 209px simply because I have my signature and my userbar (which is 350x9).

It is obvious that this must be followed as stablished, yet I do not believe that a signature would make a huge difference in the decision of hiring someone to be a part of the staff or not.

The signature isn't my only reason.
The app is unstructured and confusing.
My third image is in a spoiler.

And smiley's aren't a part of a application.

Regarts
Corex'

It follows the structure JohnDread gave out in the sticky, with only 2 added sections too it.

In my grammer, I add some shortcut/phrases/etc we use in the south, like "across and all", but that is just normal for me so I don't notice when I add it,..

In my opinion, is the application really bad.
But I know, how do you work as moderator - yes
12/09/2011 13:48 Muddy Waters#14
About damn time, definite yes. :p

Though you should consider keeping your application slightly more formal. In its current state, one is likely to receive the impression that you are not taking this any seriously.
Folks who know you won't mind, as they know you actually do, but those who don't certainly will. Being strict about proper writing myself, I can't say I really blame them.
You should definitely fix this in order to convince those who don't already know you as well. ;)

Seeing how he moderated the Silkroad Section, Hell no.
