Hey, been working on this lovely nice source as a base for awhile, I'm just wondering if anyone has +1 item drop codes, I know how to code it individualy and it would take awhile but i heard theres a easier way, than makes the drops that already drop have a chance to drop with a +1 on it.. if anyone has theese codes would they be so kind to share the?

Does anybody know what packet 1037 is by chance?

The contribution request one, it requests updates on your mentor contribution every 15 minutes or so.

Ah alright thanks. I noticed I get disconnected sometimes on that packet. I'm not home but I'm pretty sure I already know the problem.

Just curious but is anyone still working on this source?

It's still one of the better ones out there. But like I said I was just curious

Or you could use an older client and a better source.

It's still nothing special but Redux is 100x better than this source, targets a more classic patch and is a LOT more completed as a 'run and play' server.

P.S: I am using a high client ( 5975 ) cause i am trying to upgrade it.. and i changed the game cryptokey but i don't have any knowledge regarding the sockets cause i didn't study them so could anyone over here help xD

You just answered your own question. You aren't using the same client version this server is intended to work with.

In order to use a different client you're going to need to re-write this source to support that client. This means updating packets, encryption and sequences of logic that changed between those two versions.

Hello pro4never, first of all thankyou for this source, its the first one i've actually got to work and get the server running :P. Secondly i was hoping you may be able to help me with a problem in having. Its probally something simple (well hoping so) but as i'm not a programmer or coder i have no idea to go about it. When i tried to log in on the client it says "Wrong Password" i've tried it with the patches you've provided and with nullable's loader but both seem to do the same thing. Double checked the character account and passwords they're fine, even tried the "pro4never testtest" with the same result. I read in the common login problems section that my password cipher may be out of date or not working properlly but i have no idea how to fix it :/ thankyou in advance.:)

wrong password is a client side issue. Close out of the client, open it again and type the user/pass back in.

If it's coming back from the login server saying Invalid username or password then that's a different problem (likely you're using the wrong client patch)

Got it sorted, when starting the loader it was getting stuck on the mini screen before switching too the login screen so i was opening the loader a second time which got through but as the 1st one was still open it thought i had 2clients open, alt tabbing and ending the process of the 1st window allowed me to log in :). Thankyou again.

How do i add new custom items to the game?
