I just finished downloading the client, yet I've come to a few problems. When selecting a server from Silkroad.exe, the launcher stops responding, then closes. When launching from sro_client.exe, or using a loader, Silkroad crashes without showing anything really.

Like I said, I'm on Windows 7 64bit.

works fine for me on 64bit win7 try launching in winsdows xp mode

right click > compatability mode

That was the first thing I tried. No success in either Silkroad.exe, or sro_client.exe

After downloading u should restart ur PC if that wont work try this [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Huh, never actually had any luck with DEP before, but it worked this time. Thanks for the help :).
