How to increase fps?

I was wondering if there is anyway to get your fps higher than 61(mac and pc)?:confused:

The FPS is capped at ~60 because Bugpoint capped it at 60 FPS. Not your computer's fault.

same my also dont go up more than 61

man the manual is 60... so how will it go above 60.

max fps is 62 (normally). I saw also 67, 69 fps but I don't understand how it's possible. for more fps you need better CPU. Even if you play on on-board video adapter, if you have an quad core for ex you must have 60 + fps .

Oh C'mon guys, do you really know what is Hertz and Frame per second?! Learn something about the computers, etc dont use them just for gaming...

If your monitor is 60 Hertz, you will never get more then 60 frames per second (real ones). If you use a 75 one, your max will be 75 FPS...basics basics...

24 fps is the fps of the movies you see.. u get double HD = 60 still not satisfied?

EDIT : not double HD its double PAL I guess not sure :S

The FPS depends on more things:
1) Server latecy
2) Your hardware
3) Your internet connection
4) Gameplay environments(i hate this worddd)

1) Depends on how many and fast data you get from the server.
2) 128 MB onboard should be enough for minimun system requirments :D
3) You need 1 MB/s up and down(recommended).
4) If you are in gate your are going to have highest fps rate than on the normal maps. The real test is when you are going in invansions. If the number of ships is going to be more than 25 and when everybody will be in fight your fps will go down dramaticly, even with 10-20 FPS!!!

i must have clicked on the wrong thread. i thought i clicked on "How to increase fps?" not "NO! Your wrong! Im a bigger nerd!" thread. how about just saying what can be done about low fps and keep your 1100101 egos out of it

Same problem..i can afford at least 200 fps with hardware,monitor refresh rate is 85 fps,Net connection is fine and max 61..
