BR On a Weapon not shield

Does it actually block the attack? for example. my current glaive has a Blocking ratio of 60 (+100%) will it really have a chance to block it? because ive noticed that one of the attacks dealt on me (chain from a glaive) one of the damages were missing. just didnt say block. so im wondering if this is a glitch or does it really work.

well i dont thing it will block an attack, like a shield.
But glavies have that skill that blocks an attack .... whats it called ... spinning your glavie/spear around. Look at skill tree and you will see it. (kinda useless if you ask me)

With Block ratio on weapon, you get less block vs shield, and you dont Block any atack

ex: glavie (without BR) vs shield = in 5 hit you can got 2 block
glavie (with BR) vs shield = 5 hit you got 1 or 0 Block

This is unreal exemple, dunno how rates work!

if u have blocking ration on a 2 hand weapon like glavie , spear , bow , xbow... etc u will take sometimes dmg like 10, 1, 2 like this :D

i think it does block some attack. it just doesnt say block. it just drops the damage
