Error in Cabal extreme

When i extracted cabal extreme in original cabal last update files i have error again." Windown cannot access the specified device, pach, or files." Plz help me...

you dont need an other cabal to play on extrem download extrac and play

lol don't extract...ur cabal extreme is a full client not a patch lol..

Magic just extrack cabalextreme in folder alone
dont extrack it on the orginal cabal

i also have a error on xtreme.. i just DL it today.. the client doesnt open.. and my anti virus picks up a trojan.. on extreme.dll and xtremecabal.exe sumthing.. is that normal?

yes my antivir say to that is a virus

SAME PROBLEM, i just downloaded it today and extracted it into a new folder
and it says

windows cannot access the specific device,path or file, you may not have the appropriate permission to access this item :mad::mad::mad:

ok so you guys that get the you cannot access it bla bla bla bla bla i had the same problem.

what anti virus system are you using? if its AVG then i can fix your problem.


press your control+alt+delete and go to the processes tab in the task manager


now this part is for AVG i dont know if your virus protection system has the same tasks but if it does end them.

find the avgwdsvc.exe and the avgrsx.exe and end both of those proceses
(you may have to do it multiple times)

then launch that file that said cannot access. cabal extreme will now pop up so click start.

the first couple times you launch it it may not start so repeat the process cause those 2 processes you ended will come back so end them and reopen cabal exteme

have fun on extreme see ya there :D

Yep. I was gonna say exactly this. AVG will not let you play on extreme whether you tell it to ignore the files or not.

EVEN if you REMOVE avg you will not be able to play until you get those 2 files back from the original package or download the only 2 files from the forums in a post made by killzone.

another way is the set a rule for AV to skip the particular file. It should work well =)
Or if you wan it fast just disable the standard shield for AV
