[Help] Coding Tutorials

I am just wondering if anyone knows of anyone knows of any sort of tutorial websites, documents or anything along these lines of how to learn and understand the programming and coding of Shaiya.

This is purposely because if I am serious about making a pserver, In cannot only rely on Elitepvpers for all my problems.

If anyone knows or have heard of such things please could you give me and idea of where to find 1 or even a link?

It would be of great help and understanding.

Hello,

Glad to see someone willing to do it the right way. Best advise i could give you is to learn SQL, it will help you a lot in the future to edit stored procedure and also to keep your server up. You need to understand the way it works and how SQL queries work.

It's a rather simple language, nothing to really worry about. Moreover you may need to learn PhP to create some scripts etc. (internet is full of tutorials and so on)

In my honnest opinion SQL is really the basics and what you need the most in a first time.

I am just going through PhP tutorial's now on YouTube.
Quite fun to do and a good insight into it aswell

You can also use Epvpers codeing section for any non-Shaiya related questions, although the section is mainly German, if you ask in english you will be answered in english! (:

Is all PhP coding language related to Shaiya. Or is there certain Topics etc I need to learn?

Basically you need to know SQL/PhP; besides that and just if you want to do everything by yourself it is worth to learn HTML/C# to make your own website.

And other than that, and if you like programming, you can just start learning other things to develop your own tools and such.

Oh, also learn how to properly use OllyDB and maybe HxD, that will help you a lot on the server

Ahhh, I am learning the basics of php. My friend does java coding (Still no use in shaiya) But. I just hate asking for things/help on here all the time.

I like the sense of achievement of doing things myself. :)
