TETRIS Files:

Here are some XML Files to be edited

Files Needed:

Tetris Files [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Fiddler [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Charles [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Notepad ++ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Steps:

1. Now I will explain it.

2. First of all you should open the Tetris Files you downloaded before.

3. To make it easier in editing those things use Notepad ++

4. I recommend notepad ++ to make it easier and it will be used in editing or following that are the steps there.

5. Open the global.xml file with notepad ++.

6. You can see numbers before the message or inside text right?

7. Go to 23 and 24.

8. In line 23 it says, "<coins_per_complete_game value="1000" /> you can change the 1000 there to anything you wanted to gain (how many coins) after the game lose or win.

9. In line 24 it says, "<cashes_per_levelup value="1000" />" you can change the 1000 there to anything you wanted to gain (how many cashes) when you level up.

10. In lines 145 to 196 you will see this:

<rank num="0" desc="Tenderfoot" icon="rank0"></rank>

<rank num="40" desc="Legendary GM" icon="rank28"></rank>
<rank num="41" desc="Superhuman" icon="rank29"></rank>
<rank num="42" desc="Superhuman" icon="rank29"></rank>
<rank num="43" desc="Superhuman" icon="rank29"></rank>
<rank num="44" desc="Superhuman" icon="rank29"></rank>
<rank num="45" desc="Superhuman" icon="rank29"></rank>
<rank num="46" desc="Immortal" icon="rank30"></rank>
<rank num="47" desc="Immortal" icon="rank30"></rank>
<rank num="48" desc="Immortal" icon="rank30"></rank>
<rank num="49" desc="Immortal" icon="rank30"></rank>
<rank num="50" desc="Demi-God" icon="rank31"></rank>
<rank num="51" desc="God of Tetris" icon="rank31"></rank>

You can edit the name of your fame there based on your rank.

11. Open shop.xml and close global.xml (make sure you saved the changes when you closed the global.xml)

12. In lines 14 to 20 you will see like this:
<item ID="1000" name="Energy Refill" image="select_energy_full" imageSet="energy_full" costCash="1" lock="0"/>
<item ID="1006" name="Energy Refill" image="select_energy_full" imageSet="energy_full" costCoin="1" lock="0" label="limited"/>
<item ID="1001" name="1 Day Ticket" image="select_energy_1dayCash" imageSet="energy_1dayCash" costCash="1" lock="0" label="limited"/>
<item ID="1002" name="1 Day Ticket" image="select_energy_1dayCoin" imageSet="energy_1dayCoin" costCoin="1" lock="0" label="limited" open="false"/>
<item ID="1003" name="7 Day Ticket" image="select_energy_7day" imageSet="energy_7day" costCash="1" lock="0"/>
<item ID="1004" name="30 Day Ticket" image="select_energy_30day" imageSet="energy_30day" costCash="1" lock="0" label="limited" open="false"/>
<item ID="1005" name="90 Day Ticket" image="select_energy_90day" imageSet="energy_90day" costCash="1" lock="0" label="limited" open="false"/>

You can edit it's item id to what item then it's name then it's cash needed, if it's lock or not, it's label and if it will be opened/used automatically or not.

13. Same as the texts below that.

THEN FIDDLER IS THE INJECTING OF THE FILE OR THE USE OF AUTO RESPONDER THEN THE CHARLES YOU CAN USE MAP LOCAL!

Is this is for Facebook?

unless they actually let the client side handle the coin/cash per game, editing the xml will not do anything but crash your game.

If they are dumb enough to let client side handle the coin/cash per game, then a simple CE is good enough. Good luck, though I highly doubt the coin/cash would work without any proper screenshot.
11/15/2011 19:11 rikardo03#10
:facepalm: The coin/cash hack doesn't work for me.. after i play a game it freezes..
11/15/2011 21:31 duyle73#11
I figure, the guy has no idea what changing things in xml can do on a client side and hence it just crash if it doesn't match up with the database on the server side.

For future tut reference, try it out before you post it. If you don't even try your own work to see if it works or not, why bother posting it?
11/16/2011 11:53 lceman04#12
sir .. when i edit the xml then i play the xml not changing ..

can you teach me how to save or edit this ?
11/16/2011 11:55 VigossZx#13

11/27/2011 13:49 burawski#14
Uhm. how about the lines set per cleared blocks. i would like to make a more discreet hack. like every 1 block cleared sends 5 lines instead the ones posted here that sends 1000 lines. great tutorial btw. thanks in advance :)
