ScriptVessel Cracking

I was browsing my email when i found my old SV ( the script vessel that got an emulator ). I viewed the file version and it showed me the internal name of the script vessel was wg521.exe, version 1.0.0.1 and was created in the year 2005 ( wew, long time ago ). I am just a 1st year programming student who unfortunately don't have programming subjects yet(1st year are just all minor subjects, it'll be 2-3 years from now for my teachers to teach me real programming). Now something came to my head. The following are:

1. Is it possible that the latest SV just connect to this old emulator and not the server and then it'll work? if SV didn't changed anything about how they send and receive data (e.g. encryption), then it is possible that this emulator still works.

2. All SV versions checks for your current co version so it'll work. Will this old sv work if the version checking be skipped?

Sorry for the nooby question, I'm just curious. I don't know how to crack. If question isn't allowed to answer, just please answer me in private.

SV uses memory editing to do its functions I believe. The memory locations would not match up with the client so it wouldn't work.

Anyway now this idea it's posted so if it would be possible, SV (TQ) would correct it to the new patch^^
