Please Run Play.exe

Perhaps someone here could help as we all know Tq tech support is non existent.

I updated some time back with Conquer and then i got an error stating please run play.exe
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I've tried reinstalling Co clean but no luck. i just today did a clean install and now all i see is new server elements : light fire and dark.
Looking for help.

1. Go to your Conquer 2.0 folder.
2. Find Conquer.exe and create a shortcut of it.
3. Right-click the shortcut and press "Properties".
4. In the "Target" field you should see something like "C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\Conquer.exe", put a "blacknull" after that. It should look like this: "C:Program Files\Conquer 2.0\Conquer.exe" blacknull
5. Launch the Conquer.exe shortcut.

I tried that earlier and no luck. i partitioned drive and did whole new clean install from a disc from neighbors pc and now it works :) so far...
