Getting banned

Okay so i thought you only got banned after server inspections. But its flipping saturday and i all of a sudden cant click start on my character anymore... I even made a new char to see if it still works and i can login to the new one. Does this mean i got banned?

Seriously... i thought bans only happened on server inspections!

I wasnt even botting at the time...

umm... if you can get into your account. and see your characters you arent banned. if you get banned your whole account gets banned so you wont even be able to log in. you will get a message when you try to log in something like
"cannot connect to server this account has been blocked untill yada yada" or something along those lines i havnt been banned myself so i am not sure what the text is but it would be something like that from what ive heard.

if they ban characters personally that would be really awesome. please someone correct me if im wrong.
