L2Walker on Private servers(trouble)

Sup, im trying to get L2Walker to function on a private server but without success.
I have done the following:

Getting ip and protocolversions
Changed the host file
Tried new and older versions of L2W

Anyone got any sugestions? would be great thanks :D

need more details. what chronical? what verison of walker are you using? screen shots? does the server have custom system folder / launcher?

Hellbound server im using the newest walker i got the right log in ip and all, well it should be im not sure really, anyways i get linkverifyserver failed.
What i wanna know is how i should config the host file and edit proxy ip?
Ive used l2W before without problem back in c4/c5. i am currently working with l2divine but i cant log in there either so a few tips would be nice :D btw the server im playing on is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. If someone playes there or have time to check ip and configure a walker there id be really glad:D

Also; i use client in a folder only, so its not installed properly, but i dont think that matters, cus it didnt before.

i can loggin in server create character but world time out...

use l2divine, or l2divine in puppet mode + l2 walker
