Program to see how many players online?

As title says i was wondering if there is a player monitoring program for rappelz private servers. Either gives you a list of players thats online or a number of how many are online. I've done some searching and was wondering if anyone had any idea. Ive had no luck on my end.

Well that feature is actually built into the current gameserver, by pressing f2 you can see data statistics about your server at the time being -- which includes players online. If you're talking about via a webpage, it is possible but will probably difficult for a beginner to achieve.

The website script would need some way of knowing that a user is online when it queries the database. A solution would be to set up an lua trigger or alter the login/logout smps of your database to alter a new column called online. When you login the smp sets said column to 1 for Is_Online and 0 for Is_Offline, assuming that worked correctly then you need to have your webscript pull up all entries in the character database bearing a 1 in the online column.
