[EN] Laptop problem

Hello, I've bought a new laptop not too long ago (Asus K53E). The thing worked great untill recently... The laptop seems to just power-down at random, it's not the basic windows shut down, but it just goes dead (like pulling the power cable out of a PC).
The funny thing is, it only does that when I'm not doing anything and just leaving it afk (for example, downloading stuff via Torrent, or going out for a walk and leaving the thing on).

The specs:
4gb ram
640 GB HDD
Intel i5 processor (and an Intel graphics card)
Win7 64

If you have warranty try to contact the Asus support. It sounds like a motherboard or CPU issu. Let the support check and they should do replace the faulty parts.

I wouldn't really jump to going that far. What about any software settings and driver issues? There was a timer set on the laptop, if you leave it afk for longer than 5 hours (300 min) it shuts down the HDD. Maybe there are any other settings like that, and I should check them out, any tips?

The Windows 7 standart setting are :
After 10 minutes switch display off,
after 30 minutes stand-by
