7.1 server mods quest help

Hey guys I had dloaded Drows premodded 7.1 client and also placed the querys in by hand along with scripts and all. I did do right and all querys where succesfull I had thought. Problem im having is with completing a quest I started new toon to do some testing and when i do the first gildas quest he sends me to deneb ok i go to Deneb and pick the reward and hit complete it does absolutly nothing its like i never clicked deneb she still has quest animation thing over head and I am lvl 10 job lvl 10! So if someone could help me out or send me a query fix would be sweet thanks guys.

TI Quests aren't working the way they are supposed to. The client is pretty fucked up anyway. I dont know why, but there are nearly all skillsounds missing, the map doesn't show your current position (like "Horizon" or "East Field"...) and the beautiful HV water is gone too :/

I to am having this problem so are we just meant to stay on TI?

I hate to tell you but JW988 did say explicitly that this was a BETA file release and there would be no more after it. That means there are bound to be things messed up, I will be looking into the issue naturally as I plan to use these files incorporated into my next release. I however will not be posting up a full debug of what's wrong and how you fix it.

I have not done much any work with quests up to this point so with that in mind, I would say that it's not passing you to the next part of the quest correctly. It gives a link to the quest in which it refers (e.g. 1009) I am not sure if the 4 is a flag, but I know the quest number is the beginning.

I rummaged around the QuestResource and QuestLinkResource tables but haven't really found much that rings a bell, It may end up being a client issue. Keeping in mind that none of the SQL's included with the modified server files affect quest resource or quest link resource, where the real meat and potatoes of the Quests are located. I also checking into the only LUA that could have effected a change (ETC Script Functions) but it has the exact same mention of '1009' as a previous version.

Well there's the insight you guys wanted, hope it helps. I will say more when I know it.

Ok its easy to bypass TI use the halloween tel or the hv tele, Main issue im having that would be sweet if anyone knows a fix to is the pk mode its shot I Cant activate pk at all on this client. If anyone knows any info bout this would be sweet maybe even a query :D

Your issue has already been addressed in Release v1.04 check the thread in the morning when the link will be updated it's coming with several updates that lacked in the rushed original release. :D

Thanks Drow great work man! @ Speedy no man there are no solutions on the ncarbon site lol your "fix" was bunk. And im done asking questions at Ncarbon because I get banned if i ask anything about the 7.1 client.

Actually hate to side with Speedy on this one but I have no intention of implementing a quest fix as I along with NCarbon and no offense but let me make it clear:

Redemption DOES NOT offer support for 7.1 clients

My release includes an alteration to the Trainee Island Teleporter that does not check quest progress and allows users incapable of completing the quests to leave the island (Changing their job at any other major city)

Sorry not trying to offend you speedy man but I had taken this query and implemented it but I have had no luck with it I still cant get through TI And query was successful? I did go to that thread andtried it on my test server but still hung up on Deneb.
So I am sorry to sound like a dick I didnt mean to and just woke up when i posted. :(
