I was planning on making a hobby out of scripting code. I know this is probably the wrong forum to be asking but since it's known that there's experienced code writers, I wanted to ask what website can I learn to do the same? Or what books or college classes?

Microsoft C++? MSDN.
I recommend you learn standard C++ though

Microsoft C++... Managed C++ running on that darn common language runtime uh -_- some love it tho. As kotarou pointed out, for basically anything involving coding for windows, MSDN is your primary knowledge base anyways.

There are plenty of tutorial out there about learning the basis of standard C++. Managed C++ or not, you gotta learn the base first anyways. My fav one is in french so isn't the right for you, but those 2 seem interesting, take a look at them:

I know this does not help you at all, but I am going into college course for C++ :P. So good luck with what you are doing. Hobbies are always fun, mine happens to be painting and music... but yeah lol. As for a piece of advice, go for a college that has a basic C++ classes. I looked at a few that seemed pretty nice, gl though. If you want more info, pm me and I can get you some colleges with basic - advance classes that they offer.

College course? To learn C++? Uh, bro... Why would you need to waste your time and money taking classes when you can learn it yourself in under a day at no extra cost to you?

mmm, I was just looking through some things online. found a couple courses. It is really up to him though lol. I prefer classes opposed to reading online. But yeah, it is really up to the person's style.
