[GUIDE/HACK] Manipulating Pathfinder!

07/03/2008 06:45 scottdavey#1
I've had this idea for a while but tonight i actually put it to action, Its actually very simple. This is my first guide/hack release.
The only reason i post this here is because i don't think its been done before.

Will become very useful for quests.

First of all you need this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Once you've got that go to your conquer 2.0 program files and go to ini, drag MapDestination.dat onto the exe, and open the .txt file, Simply go to the city that your in and replace say the blacksmith in twin city's coordinates with whatever coordinates you want. Save the .txt and drag it onto the .exe it will say do you want to overwrite MapDestination.dat say yes.

Reopen your client and use pathfinder and it will take you to your custom coordinates!

I think someone should attempt to make a hack where you just type custom coordinates that would be great! But for the meantime this will work!

ENJOY!

Hopefully it sparks a new style of hacking, For example someone i know has made a bot using pathfinder that you input custom coords into the program and it jumps to them coordinates

Very nicely made, I'm not going to do quests but nevertheless this is a very good idea :) keep up the good work.

That is really cool! Has anyone made a complete MapDestination.dat for all maps, or at least for the most popular?
