Tips:

Explain all with the 1st time you post.
Might want have the credit section
Explain why people should play this instead of other private servers
Explain your goals
Give a few screenies
and might want to tell people about yourself, IE only a coder will most likly work with a coder. So if you cant code, you might not get that many people on the project.

another thing is you may want to wait till your project goes a bit further b4 you start trying to get players lol.

No im not trying to crash your spirits =) im just saying, if you try to get a hype now, and people play on a new new server without any promises, then you're quite screwed. Start off picking friends to test, and only grow bigger there. ^^ thats how i have a few people ready to donate to me... though im not accepting because the base of the game isnt complete. Trust should be your main concern with your public =).
