NEW MAPS...

I'm trying to add new maps to conquer someone I know will tell you which files changed?

I will also shake the folder gameserver?

to add an entire new map you got alot of work to do,, start by using the ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] ) button

not much work I have my files more MsgServer beam automatically so I think it also should change something, the more since we do not understand why I do not know answer

You can't make your own map. Not without A LOT of work and nobody have done it before, so there is no help. You can edit existing map, but not making your own.

elitepvpers doesn't support binary private servers because they are illegal i think?

It depends what you meant by epvp. If community then you are wrong. Its shamefull but binarys get loads of credits.

by elitepvpers i mean the forums not the community, thread will be most likey closed because mods around
here represent the forums so.... yeah, we don't support binarys :D

Discussing them is ok, distributing them isnt, i still dont understand why the Eudemons section is exempted from this rule, it applies to practically every other section. But yeah, no distributing, discussing is ok. Although there arnt many people around here who can help you with it as a result.

the problem is that I have a source that has new maps so that when I use this source generates cq_map MsgServer error, so I have to replace the cp_map MsgServer open normally, my doubt is: I have to also change a file folder MsgServer to the source can run with all the maps allowed the source? for when the try / chgmap ..... it does not recognize the map informed.

i dont know anything about making private servers and i definitely dont know crap about binarys, but i think
you need the map in the client as well? :P

Question.

When you say "new map" do you mean fully custom maps including graphics, dmap data and map objects? Or do you mean clones of existing maps just altering npcs, sobs and npcs type deal?


Option 1: Difficult only from a data management standpoing (all file structures needed and information is either public or well documented if you ask around... IE: my map viewer program i created and or the information posted on the forum about how game>screen coords calculations works)

Option 2: Easy. Just edit gamemap.dat and or edit your cqmaps table to support the new map and then add in the needed spawns.

Not entirely sober as I write this so please excuse any missed replies or altered information.

the problem is that when you change the cqmap putting the new maps, when I turn on the server, an error and beam msgservergera automatically
