You can't run a p-server that was built for window's on a linux's, well you can but this is what you would have to do.

1) Convert the DB, (MSSQL > MySQL)

2) Convert the window's services into Linux stable services...

3) ?????

4) Fix all new bug's that occur.

I would enjoy knowing where I messed up, I use to develope a closed server for this game.

It run's service's such as GameServer, LoginServer ETC ETC.

It run's off a Window's DB MSSQL.

Step 3 was ???? this was referring to everything else that had to be done.

Also, insulting me by saying I'm not a programmer is something I take quite seriously. It's like someone telling a surgeon he is not a surgeon...

I fixed a massive error on Shaiya by breaking down the PS_Game.exe into compiler, and sorting through all the diffrent bytes until I found the one's that controled the Skill process, then I had to MANUALLY add in all the new skill's, find where it connected to the DB, and add the path in there too.

Congratulations, you know how to search for referenced strings in Olly.

By the way, breaking down an executable 'into compiler'? What does that even mean?

I'm sorry, but it is much more complex then that.

Topic is closed, all this is, is a hate war.
