about fs using cr

hi, my fs is a mfs and i'm using lance. and i wondering why do i have to go close range like right infront of the mob to get aoe. is it cause its a fs and its main for meele sword skill and all?

anyway i'm using att 50 range 40 and radius 20.

Because lances have PIERCING effect , that means it will go through the mob, that means if theres a near mob closer than the range of the lance it will get hited, dispite of cannons that have splash damage, hitting the mobs around the one you got targeted, hope you found your answear

what about the aoe effect? doesnt it splash the aoe? with cabal rider.
