a lot of people are having this problem. they get to channel select, and it times out over and over and over again. i have used the following method to get through right away the last 3 times.
first, you will need a second cabal account on GP. they allow up to 3 accounts per GP account.
-now, login with your main account. select a channel, and if it doesnt go through right away, hit esc around 1/3 of the way through the load bar to go back to login
-next, login with second account, and again esc about 1/3 through load bar.
-now login with main, and select channel. it should be almost instant. if it doesnt work, do it again.
perhaps sometimes it will accept when you select a channel with second account, but hasnt happened to me yet. if it does, just esc and try again.
