As ronaldfa said. You cant run the server directly on your computer with windows 7. You need to have Vmware installed to run it.

it would be awesome if you can make it run on anywindows by editing codes inside, but you will need the source codes for it?

So to answer clearly:
It is possible to make a Dekaron Private Server on your computer with Windows 7 64-Bit, you'll need to install VMWARE (this is a program that will run Windows Server 2003 on your computer like a computer inside a computer). There are a lot tutorials how to install it and let a basic DK server run on it.

Here's a thing I know that. I'm talking about editing the exes so that it will run on any windows without vmware.

I think it's pretty impossible, it's just so much changing of codes that you'll get a headache out of it, getting information out of research how to do it is impossible too, because most of the developers don't have the 'need' of running it on a windows 7.

Without source code its not even worth the time. You shouldn't be running a server on Windows 7 anyways. You can grab VL copys of Server 2003 SP2 R2 all over the net and keys as well. You would be better off installing 2003 as your main OS instead. Or just buy a mini rig, a machine to run a Dekaron server costs less then $400. One time investment for a home dedi. Then you can juice up your connection off donations, and pocket more money then it costs to buy a dedi. With the same end product. So really if you need to run it on Windows 7 that bad just use VirtualBox.
