PV Server Patch 5017!

hey i have a pv server on patch 5017 but the problem is when i try to login with conquer 2.0 i get this error "Server.dat damaged or failed to open. Please re-install the game." well what the ...... can i do:S the my frends can connect with the same server.dat and client:confused:

with the qonquer client im getting logging into the server (or something) but then i get a error with no text and in the console i see that im sucsesfully logged in :S my email is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] if u cant help me on elitepvpers

The error you get with the Qonquer client is because the Version of the client isnt the correct one.

ok but when someone else is hosting i can connect:S and im not using hamachi or something(we tryed it with hamachi to)

there's a old launcher laying around these forums somewhere that work i got it just cant be bothered uploading it ^.^

well i have a loader from hadeset he gave me but i put the CID loader and the conquer.exe and the CIDServer.dat in the conquer folder but it still dont work when i start the CIDLoader it says Please run Play.exe

IMO, if you can't manage to fix these by yourself, and you're hosting a server, failure is guaranteed. Of course, this is only when the people in particular are not TQ, since even though they failed epically at the game, they succeeded legendary at becoming rich.

Have you upped your server patched just lately? It could be that replacing files from your server folder messed up some things. Make sure your client is holding the correct patch for your server. Best thing to do is reinstall your client, and manually update it to the right patch.

If you still encounter the same errors, only when logging in to your server, it's obviously a server side issue. Reinstall the files (make backup of accounts from the DB) would be the most basic course of action.

If there server is for 5017, then only the 5017 client will understand the packets being received from the server, the 5017 client has IP Protection that you have to bypass in the Conquer.exe to connect to your server though, Unless you code it to allow external IP's if you new more help give me a PM.
