What's up?
As Tom's Antihack's factor of usefulness (is that even correct grammar?!?) kinda is zero, why shouldn't I release the SRC-code?
But first some facts:
#1 - The code suxx... I mean... I originally coded it when v11 binaries were released. Thats 2 years+. I sucked @ coding by then. :)
#2 - You can bypass it by just altering the leading byte. Stupid FlyFF server files don't check it appearently.
#3 - You can probably fix #2 by rewriting the packet-reading using 5 minutes of your time if you know about FlyFF packets and network programming.
#4 - Tom's Antihack spawns one thread per connection (plus several others for managing incoming connections & managing the GUI). It's using the pthread library btw. As there is a limit of 1024 threads per process servers using my antihack can't have more then about 1020 people online. (Only one server ever ran into that problem: Insanity.)
#5 - Have I already mentioned that the code suxx?
#6 - It does.
#7 - No backdoors are in the SRC.
#8 - You will HAVE to add the pthread library into your project's standard include / lib paths or the SRC will not compile.
#9 - I actually have drawn that stupid smilie all the b00n servers are having as Neuz.exe icon. And I removed bufflimit, added lvl view, GM colors... owait, this is about the antihack, right?
This fact is true though.
