I'll give you a heads up/warning right now, screen them well, 99.9999%+1 of them are fakes and the ones who aren't work on my server.

If you've read these forums then you'll know this game has a bunch of people in it for false fame or scams.

An example of people who aren't real devs. If they were PM's on crypton, they aren't real devs. Just people with big talk and who want money out to screw anyone they can for a quick buck and some fame. (Notice how they are down now just like in 2009 after collecting donations for a few months and then *random reason here* server goes down without having done a single update to the server other than put in the name crypton everywhere and copy some client files from omni.)

So in short, unless you are a developer yourself and can tell when someone is bullshitting about knowing how the dat files are built (ask them about the byte order of what each byte set in the itemtype.dat means or what the data in levelexp.dat means or at the very least shop.dat structure as these are just the basics of must know more than just how to edit a item name), how to create new tables, and do something more than script a few npc dialogs since the stock release database is trash, full of bugs, unsafe for a live server, and exploitable with a multitude of hacks. Then you should find another game to consider running. If however you are some ninja developer yourself, have made multiple db->dat byte dumper tools, dat->db dumper tools, understand multiple reverse engineering concepts, then good luck.

2 be honest i've knew that i wont find any one and this is 100% clear that there is few zero servers working atm but since iam always faith on the 000.1% so i keep trying .

It maybe its 99% for not finding the right person but it could be also 99% to find the wrong person who want to be one of the best developers but looking for the best chance .

This is how i did started and i think it works with servers which already haven't any coders on it and here it is now 1 of the best top games .

We started since we didn't know what is dat files even or what is mysql some where we was on maze and pretending to be ( I know every thing ) it could be wrong but lets see what is it now ? , we have got our own apps to edit item, shop dats each field got its bytes which hard to code we have got our own dds . textures and maps .

This is why i picked zero cos it kinda outgrowth and for moment i think i could give hand on that and still trying who knows maybe it works and maybe not .

And this is what i called developing .

Sorry for my awful english and thanks .

you will be hard press in zo its not like eo, i know you run a eo pserver but in zo you will have to learn how to do more then you ever did in eo, just a heads up it is not as a simple thing as people assume just cause its a tq game does not mean all tq games are the same.

unlike eo there are no editors, no shop editors. eo editors will not work on zo you will have to create your own to work on zo.

There's no way you could be beta3, maybe 6B, but not 3, since beta3 is march of 2010.

why not apply to omni? considering shadow has done well up to now, im sure you would get rather with him then solo or starting new.
