Weapon Proficiency Epiphany

I recently rbed and had lvl 16 prof on my sword, shield and poleaxe. I rbed with the poleaxe and lvled it up. The axe managed to epiphany up to 16 again. Once I hit 115, I decided to work on my sword/shield prof again, but it didn't epiphany when I hit lvl 8 prof. Kinda sucks... was just wondering how this whole epiphany of weapon prof works.

i dont got a clue, try get it up a bit more, cos sometimes it glitches out and stuff

I've seen it where if ur lvl 10 and 70 pct u had to get that 35pct or so after lvl 5
then again i've seen where u had to get lvl 6 to get back to 10. So just keep lvling ur weapon it'll get back to ur previous lvl. Just think at least ur not having to get back ur phoenix lvl b/c my nix is fixed but after rb i had start over again.

Right now, I've gotten sword up to lvl 11... I don't think it will epiphany. I've heard of this happening to other people. I was just wondering what other people's experiences have been with prof epiphany (i.e. do you have to epiphany the prof before char lvl 70?). I'm hoping the skill epiphany will be more reliable. I had fixed nix before rb, and the dual smg sword I had used to lvl nix is lvl 115. That's why I wanted to work on sword prof when I hit 115. If nix doens't epiphany when I hit 4.5, I'll just add that to the list of why tq sucks.

Well I'm confused... I just finished lvling sword to 12 and it DID epiphany to 16. I guess you can just disregard this thread. Although I am still a little curious as to how it has worked for others.

unless u consider glitches random.

but zoitron may have a point about being a certain lvl. Does anyone know for sure?
