GOLD HACKING - idea

Now, i know most people think it is impossible but what if we changed the value things cost in the shops? In some online games i have just set it so things cost like 1g in the shops and i have gotten them for 1g. Is this possible in perfect world?

I honestly don't know how that would be done without having a GM on your ass, fast.

It probably could be done, but I'd be worried that a GM would catch on. You'd be in some serious shit if you were caught.
That's one thing I think people shouldn't fool with.. it's too risky.

Jumping sure didnt seem to be server sided. All we can do is come up with ideas.

we wont be sharing anything anymore with regards to PH server since GM's are on to this site already. We will do that to prevent them from doing counter measures on the hacks. ;)

There are already hacks being worked on that they will have no slightest idea of.. lol lol :D

the cash shop is server sided and client sided. The gshop.data has to be identical on both client and host or you get error that sais something like Fortune stack doesnt synchronize with server.

Try to use python scripts and send trojan horse to server , then you will see ...

What if we could recode the client and modify it so the gshop file would be connected with your own host, meaning you edit the file yourself, put it somewhere on your own or another computer, have the two sned and recieve packets and what not. So pretty much, would it be possible to modify the client and perhaps emulate the server?

Thats what they do with msn messenger so that you can talk to anyone including people who have blocked you, i guess you could make a program that simulates the server or even use a real server. Im sure someone can work it out.

if ever you will modify the data for the item mall, it will never reflect on the live server. furthermore, transactions are linked to your account so it is highly detectable and a criminal offense.

so far what i have done is this, i have edited the item mall for my client but the game will never let me open the item mall. it will say that the client is not patched.

yer i know that, i have another idea for a hack but im not sharing it here ubtil i get it working, i want full credit lol
