Go into Navicat and connect to ur Server
Change into
mysql and open the databse
user
U just have to look at the last row with
% root [crypted pw]
Open this
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and generate your wished password.
Look at the row
MySql5 and copy.
Now u have to change the letter into capital letters.
e.g.
6bb4837eb74329105ee4568dda7dc67ed2ca2ad9
6BB4837EB74329105EE4568DDA7DC67ED2CA2AD9
And now u have to put a * infront of the crypted password.
*6BB4837EB74329105EE4568DDA7DC67ED2CA2AD9
Now you can exchange the old password ;)
And dont forget to change the pw in the connection properties afterwards.
