How to make a private server on Windows Vista (OS)?

As the topic says.. i cant get eny of the guides to work on my computer:/.. i have follow the guides and none works for me:/.. can some1 tell me if its works to Vista?

@JoieJones, playboy (or something) gave me in Section Guide and Templates (I got Vista too), and the guide has a new thing to download, Windows Xp Pack or something. I didn't installed it because it totally change your Vista into Windows Xp.
So take your own choise ;) :p

if its not working for you, get ur pc transformed into a new pc,

like windows xp or 7
i also have a vista and the server wont work cause the pages allways closing to i downloaded a new version and its worked for me :)

I like your intent to help, but this thread is four years old and the OP probably isn't alive anymore :) That is a big exaggeration, but you know what I mean :) Check the dates before posting again, if in doubt just private message the OP instead of bumping a dead thread.
