It have always been working for Windows 7. Duh.

so glad i uploaded this, just reviewing my old posts, and totally forgot about this, after reinstalling windows a dozen+ times since this post i never though about the dds files until recently.

as for you haters, mine along with many others versions of windows 7 dont support dds by default, i have win 7 ultimate SP1 still, and still by default no dds support, this method works for me so i shared it. if you have a smart ass comment to say about it dont bother, this is here for the people who need it.

Why would you bump this thread after two years to defend your position against absolutely nobody? Nobody here has an interest in criticizing you for using this software - you're welcome to use whatever works for you. Keep in mind that this might not work with Windows 8, and thus you should consider my approach found in [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. Otherwise, I see no problem in this. In the future, please don't bump threads from years ago, even your own, to post irrelevant content.

i just sent you a PM regarding my warning from the other post, and the same goes for this post, it is still useful. Therefor by bumping it, it allows users who have not seen it, a chance to see it.

*edit*
if users don't find this usefull within the week (you'll be able to tell thru downloads, 66 at the time of this edit) feel free to close it, but i just felt it deserved another shot, as i just re found it today and i still needed it whos to say im the only one.

The board rules, set by the forum's administration, restrict bumping. If a thread is bumped unnecessarily, it should be either closed or the post bumping it deleted. The purpose of this is to keep relevant content (discussions currently relevant to the interests of the forum) on the front pages of the sections. Bumping threads would take advantage of thread sorting to keep threads at the top of sections - which is why we have the rule (to prevent spam). Also, please do not discuss warnings and infractions in public view.
