The fact that Mabinogi is on the edge of the cliff, is the fault of the people that made the mods, hacks, and exploits, and all those that asked for them, searched for them, and now use them.
Simply said, in whatever game anyone will play in the future, keep the modding to yourself, don't even tell your best friend.
I, myself, have taken a step back and installed the clean client of Mabinogi, to show that i just want mabi back, without all the mods that break it, and take all the fun.
What fun is it to hack a game, only if it results in breaking it? Why should you continue using them, if you know you're destroying the game and the people that play it?
It may all seem like a joke to the modders and mod-makers now, but when Mabi eventually falls, they will feel guilt, because they know it's their fault.
I know who the modders and (evil-intent) packet editters are, though I am not gonna point fingers, because they will only point back, or laugh it off.

Visual mods were okay, but once packet editing and duping came up, it was all over for mabinogi...

Mabinogi would be dying even without the mods and hacks, just not as fast. In fact I'd say Nexon America will be done within the next 5 years - even if the playerbase is largely made up of tweens with too much time on their hands, their rank incompetence IS driving players - and payers - away.
