Hello guys,
I would like to become a moderator in the perfect world section. First of all, I will list up the information required by the application mask.
My contact details :
My IRL name is Alex and I am 19 years old. I have been active with Perfect World development since 2009, which is also the date I joined here. I have since then written several tools ranging from small autopotters too my current grindbot, pGrind, and will soon release a clientless bot.
My knowladge of PW ranges from memory structs and functions in client to the used network protocol and its compression/encryption. I've also tried myself in pw server development, but then found I love clientside development more.
The reason I chose to apply is because of the recently increased rate of keyloggers and malware being posted as hacks/bots on the forum. This is something that, pardon my expression, severly pisses me off. Things like that are what make people scared of genuine software. I also noticed that there is no active moderator currently, and the threads that are stickied have long since outlasted their usefullness. For example, we have wallhacks sticked which no longer work, and bots which do not work either anymore. This makes things complicated for people new to this topic, perhaps searching for a quick bot, because sticked posts always arouses attention more then other posts, which is the reason we sticky after all.
I can answer pretty much every question you ask me about PW, and if not, I will research and will be able to answer later on. I am fluent in Delphi and Assembler and can write and read C#, C and C++ along with PHP and python.
As to my experience with the human nature - I know people seem dumb sometimes, but I am prepared to show them the right path toward what they are seeking. I have been admin of my own site for some time , ever since I started with pw development, so I think of myself as an experienced community manager.
I am also online for about 4-6 hours daily, so any resulting questions will be answered as soon as I read them.
As for you reading my question now, I thank you for said reading and hope I have left a little insight to who I am.
If you have any questions, please ask me here. I am German, so I can answer in german too.
Cheers
