password needs to be in Md5 hash just find a Md5 generator from google type in your pass then copy the hash code into your auth file and game opt

If I clean the password for the user testing that it is connected without problems.

Through Management Studio it is connected without problems with the password and without (

Set your user as sa and make sure sa is the owner of all the databases, then just do your pass word again.

With the user all as it should be! The problem that I can't will be connected in auth and game the server with the password. Through SQL Management Studio I am connected with the password without problems! I already that only didn't try.

S db.auth. _ password:7a98bd32da55d0f6f61ea851a1c61d13

This option in general works? Why without the password I am connected without problems and how I put in MSSQL the password on the user he doesn't want to be connected?

P.S. In advance I apologize for the English. I use the translator.

did you check the enforce password and make sure its in your user setting as the normal password?

type in your normal password in Mssql and then use a Md5 in your auth and game.opt

I have created the new user "testing". Has produced to it the rights to bases Auth / Arcadia / Telecaster. Has checked up serviceability of the user through SQL Management Studio - all works.

It has then tried to be connected by it through game_bin without the password - all works. As I put the password, I can not be connected through game_bin. Through SQL Management Studio all works (

I already simply don't know in what a problem. Already on 10 times all has checked up.

MSSQL Management Studio - it is connected.
S db.auth. _ password:ae2b1fca515949e5d54fb22b8ed95575 - isn't present
S db.auth. _ password:testing - isn't present

And so tried

S db.auth.password:ae2b1fca515949e5d54fb22b8ed95575 - isn't present
S db.auth.password:testing - isn't present

All right, I will try further

Did you recompress after each edit of the auth and game.opt?
08/25/2011 19:28 palpatinel#9
Yes. But I check on auth.opt. It shouldn't be compressed.
08/25/2011 20:41 ironhammer500#10
no i mean you use the rappelzcompress.exe after you change both.
08/25/2011 22:42 palpatinel#11
On a miscellaneous tried. All variants. Has stopped on leaving without the password. But it is very unsafe. How to solve a problem I do not know.
08/27/2011 19:45 palpatinel#12
The help is still necessary. Who faced the same problem?
08/27/2011 20:59 Ranma014#13
I thought the database passwords arent in MD5, but in DES
08/27/2011 21:23 ismokedrow#14
I'm pretty sure the DB only accepts DES.
