Yo!
Answering First Questions:
- It's just the beginning of the project so yeah... very basic;
- Currently some features added, but for now you can walk/jump/ load items and some other basic things(Very basic... started the project like 3 days ago);
- Yeah it's for the current patch (5522 if not wrong), to login just download/install TQ client, update it and use the loader released here;
- It's not MySql, I'm open to opinions (That doesn't mean ask me to DO it mysql or any other database system for you);
- Why I'm doing that? Because i want to learn, since i'm on College now, so yeah... maybe i'm going to stop coding conquer (the chances are high);
- It's not the best source around or anything like... but it's not so bad too ;];
- Am I going to update it? Yeah, sure i'll... i'm working on it right now, but for who want to learn and not copy/paste codes like most of the egy's do (I didn't mean all ;], some of them scape from that), it's going to be a new thing to see :];
What it's in for now?
- AccServer;
- MapServer;
- NpcServer;
So Basically:
- AccServer will be doing authentication for new connections and doing the log for it;
- MapServer will manage the game map systems with some other things inside and how to use that "other things" will be on NpcServer;
- NpcServer is the gameserver, that will handle incomming client requests and answering to them. It contains all game features (or at last should/will contain);
Obs.: That's how i called the servers, your opinion about that doesn't concern to me so don't even loss your time speaking about how i named classes/projects.
HOW TO SETUP?
- Go to the debug folders and change the Database Path, currently is:
(Acc Server)
and:
(Npc Server)
change to where the database folder will be.
open source , Debug it (I said open & Debug not go to debug folder and execute the .exe) and check it... very basic huh?
ohh, i forget to say. currently you can see only npcs and your own items (default items of the PM ... you can't equip/unequip or buy/sell items yet)
going to add the view others in some moments and may post or not it right now...
the source is attached bellow, there is no password, also anyone calling it "YOUR" will be just losing your time, cuz everybody will know it's mine and also it has nothing that some sources out there don't have yet, so good luck to all.
Like i said before, I'm open to opinions (just mean i'll check and if better than my current ideas i'll take them, other else i'll consider as an advice) Not willing to answer any private msg about it/or request of improving it to a server or anything like... so DON'T TRY, if anyone friendly want to give me an advice (my friends here only) feel free ^^
