Animations

Well as being this can't hurt anything... and Mabinogi is in ruins right now. Anyway, to use this packet you need to change this part of the packet (which will offer you a wide variety of animation which can be found on Animation.txt located at the bottom of this thread) 00006D64<Char ID> 0E0400030000000<02>3000000<0C>0101020000 Alright, so there are two parts of this packet you need to change. The first part <02> Controls the general animation you want such as 02 being the skill "Rest." The second part, <0C> Controls what kind of rest you want. Such as, 0C being rank 5 rest... or laying on your side. What that would look like in the Animation.txt: C=Sit05. You do not need to convert anything to hex, I already did that for you. And there you have it, if I missed something please tell me so I can add it :)

Mabinogi's down for Maintenance right now, isn't it?
I honestly hope they patch this, though I won't be disappointed if they don't. I'll just use it as an excuse to do something more constructive.
If it is not patched, I'll have a look at these, anyway, though. Probably. Might have something I missed?

If it is patched the only way they could have patched it is by moving the OP code. So if you have some common sense as of how to packet edit, then you will be able to fix this "patched" packet.

Well. I didn't have any hopes for it to begin with. I'll have a look at this later then.
Excuse my ignorance on such things. I do have some basic knowledge on that. I could probably figure that out if I actually looked at it.

I looked at that TXT now... isn't it the same thing as what's in motion.xml and anim.ini, etc? Found easily in multiple places? Though I suppose not everyone has those.

I didn't have the server sided one... xD I was to lazy to find it, so I created my own packet for it.

I could probably find it myself if I needed, but sadly I'm strapped for cash atm and thus can't afford the NX buff potions to grab their packets post-"patch".

Oh well.

i placed an ^ at an error, this is supposed to be 20. as 03 starts the next param

breakdown:

00006D64 - opcode
<Char ID> - charID
0E - packet ID
04 - 4 params
00 - :
03 - first param, 8 digits
00000002 - 2, this is the category
03 - 2nd param, 8 digits
0000000C - 12, this is the element
01 - 3rd param, 2 digits
01 - 1, this is loop (0 = off, 1 = on)
02 - last param, 4 digits
0000 - this is always 0

note that i already released a guide on this, like more then a month ago.
