NOTE:: :D better make ur nfsw on 800x600 and window mode :D so u can minimize it quickly... then proceed in this methods :D and close some of ur application such as mozilla firefox and google chrome :) coz it make ur PC laggyy

[WORKING on Windows xp, vista and 7]
[Specs needed ]
256mb video card
2gb memory of ram [ for xp ] [3 gb of memory for vista and 7 ( because it eat a lot of memory :) btw i prefer put 1gb of memory and 20gb on hardisk :D ]
dual core 2.6ghz....and above..
[FILES NEEDED]
Windows XP CD
VMWare Workstation 6.5
first of all DOWNLOAD VMWare 6.5 or latest
search for it dont ask for a link its easy to find
1.after you downloaded VMware. install VMware

2.after you installed VMware create a New Virtual Machine.

3.Choose Typical or if you want custom for memory options and other

4.after you choose the option you want insert your Windows XP CD or ISO file if you have it after this type the serial if windows XP

5.then type the name that you want for your Virtual Machine

6.after that choose the space you want for your virtual machine ( i prefer 10 gb disk or more and 1gb of memory and moree :D )

7.click finish then it should install your Windows XP Virtual Machine

8.after installing Windows XP Virtual Machine click edit virtual machine settings then options click Advanced then in Gather Debugging Information choose the FULL then open your VIRTUAL MACHINE

9. Install the NFSW launcher on your VM( aka virtual machine )... and then after installing... close it.. [[[ go back to ur desktop not on the VM ]]then go to C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataElectronic Arts if u are using windows xp and C:ProgramDataElectronic ArtsNeed For Speed WorldData if u r using windows 7 or vista... and then drag or copy and paste them in VM ( aka virtual machine) [ proceed to step 10 ].
10. DRAG the NFSW WHOLE FOLDER [ the game itself ] to C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataElectronic Arts ( for xp )and ( for 7 or vista ) C:ProgramDataElectronic ArtsNeed For Speed WorldData [[ IN VM aka virtual machine]]
11. install the drives that needed in NFSW :D.....

NOTE #1::: this is good when u are hunting a parts :D
NOTE #2::: if u are confusing about step 9 and 10 better update ur NFSW manualy :D....
NOTE #3[[ for newbie like me :D ]][ dont choose any place where ur nfsw save the update in windows xp it must be on C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataElectronic Arts ( that is the default :) ] and if u want to choose where it saves the updates... just put the NFSW whole folder on the place where the NFSW launcher updates save :D
NOTE #4 no internet connections?? go to control panel then network... then enable it :D
[to minimize lags and hangs ] close some application while running VM and make ur windows xp task bar in old style :D

Open a second launcher in sandboxie. Now you have two launchers open.
log into one account on one launcher, and another account on the other launcher, and then start the game.
You'll have two NFSW running at the same time. Pretty simple ^^
